Focus on the PLAST'09, Milan, Italy, March 24 to 28, 2009:
The main attraction was a vertical rubber injection press from Generation 9, model V59Y10 (60 Ko. pdf) with 260T clamp and Rep injection unit 1000cc/2000bar.
This press was used to present the Rep TurboCure system with TempInverter system on the injection unit and a mold designed and tuned with FillBalancer technology.
Visitors could also discover a new horizontal rubber injection press (60 Ko. pdf) from the H range with 300T clamp and FIFO injection unit 1000cc/2000bar.
It was equipped with a brush system from an Italian supplier : T.System in Chiuduno (BG).
The demonstration mold was 48-cavity for the O'ring production supplied by ORP Stampi in Viadanica (BG).
The third machine was a vacuum compression press from TUNGYU - REP's partner in Taiwan, with 250T clamp demonstrating interesting ergonomics features for molds with 3 levels.
